By CTA – Christ to All
Sharing the Gospel isn’t reserved for grown-ups! Here’s one fun way to encourage kids to join in by teaching them this 1, 2, 3, 4 tool.
It’s great that you know this Good News:
1 Savior
2 rescue me:
3 nails, a cross—
4-given, set free!
And it’s wonderful that you know how to share Jesus’ love and forgiveness with other people!
- Ask God to show you someone who needs to hear about Jesus.
- Look for a time when your friend can listen carefully.
- Keep on praying that the Holy Spirit will encourage your friend’s faith.
The 1, 2, 3, 4 tool is only one simple way children can remember the Gospel message of the New Testament for themselves and share that precious Good News with others. Many other tools are available, too.
It’s not the tool that matters. It’s the message of God’s love and forgiveness in the cross and empty tomb of the Savior!
Encourage your child to use 1, 2, 3, 4 (or some other tool) to share that message with their families. Then talk together about friends who would find this message encouraging, too. Develop a plan to share it with them. Then pray together for those friends.
God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16 NLT)
