We hear promises every day. "Transform your skin after one use!” or “Taste the rainbow!” We hear so many different people promise so many different things that we may stop paying attention. Yeah, yeah, we think, I’ve heard that one before.
The Bible also is full of promises. Throughout his Word, God tells his people what he will do for us. However, God’s promises are never false advertising. When God assures us he will do something, we can be certain he will! His promises assure us we are safe, precious, important, loved.
The In Jesus, I Am . . . Youth Journal will help youth ministry leaders connect with students and help them dive more deeply into some of the assurances our Lord gives us in the Bible. The journal gives leaders ideas to get started, and provides students with space to respond to God’s Word in any way they wish. As they spend time with their Savior, they might use the space to write prayers or doodle reactions to a passage. They may jot down letters, lists, song lyrics, or symbols to help process what God has promised.
