Transformative Teaching
I know it's a year later, but I wanted to give High Praise to Our God for the Devotional book "TORN". We used it as a church wide engagement during Lent 2024. We coupled its daily lessons into a 6AM daily prayer call centered around the days teaching. At the end of Lent (40 days), the Spirit of God challenged us to go the 50 days leading up to Pentecost. Torn engaged our congregation on a deeper level, corporately and individually. The pastor said that he too was challenged and refreshed by the teachings. The ancillary materials (PPT, lesson plans, etc.) helped us to advertise on social media to get the word out. Thank you to the author for helping us see beyond the TORN veil to the promise that awaits us.
